Blade Micro CX Bind & Fly
This Micro CX is the first helicopter that E-Flight have produced as both a ready to fly and a bind and fly model. Anybody owning a Spektrum transmitter or even some JR transmitters can bind the model to your radio. The transmitter supplied with the CX2 can also be used.

Overview
The Blade mCX is an ultra micro-sized version of the Blade CX/CX2 that offers first-time and experienced helicopter pilots unsurpassed stability and incredible control through the coaxial, counter-rotating head design and Spektrum 2.4GHz DSM2 control. Its single-cell Li-Po battery charges in approximately 30 minutes and delivers flight times of 6-8 minutes, while full, 4-channel control provides the precision needed for flying in those tight spaces indoors. All you need to do is bind your DSM2 transmitter or module to the Blade mCX's receiver and your adventure into the new era of RC flight begins. With its cutting-edge engineering, design, technology and performance, the Blade mCX Bind-N-Fl is sure to provide you with hours of helicopter flying fun.
The unique 5-in-1 control unit with Spektrum 2.4GHz DSM2 compatible receiver, main motor ESCs, mixer, gyro and fully proportional servos will bind to your DSM2 transmitter to give you the most advanced mCX flight experience. You can take full advantage of utilizing dual rates, mixing and other capabilties of your transmitter. You can experience heading-lock-like performance and fully proportional control all in this one-ounce package, just bind and fly.

The Blade Micro CX helicopter uses two sets of main rotor blades that spin in opposite directions. This is called a Contra Rotating helicopter. Contra rotating helicopters do not require a tail rotor and turn by changing the speed of individual sets of blades. This design makes the helicopter much more stable and makes it suitable for any level of ability.
I am what you might describe as a competent pilot of high performance outdoor RC helicopters so you might think I would get bored quickly of the Micro CX, not true. The Micro CX is the perfect size for flying indoor, it's tiny and fits in to the palm of your hand so even small rooms are big for such a small heli. The Micro CX is a four channel helicopter which gives you excellent control which makes it all the more fun to fly.
Having flown this little heli in to just about every household object imaginable (competent pilot that I am) I can say first hand that it's durable and I'm yet to have to replace any parts. Speaking of parts you can buy glow in the dark blades and landing skids plus a few other parts which looks pretty impressive if you want to try a spot of night flying.
The Micro CX is great for people who have never flown a RC helicopter and equally as enjoyable for seasoned pilots. It's easy to fly, highly controllable, durable and cheap on parts.
The Micro CX can be purchased as a Ready to Fly version which comes complete with helicopter, transmitter, charger and batteries. It's 100% ready to fly, just unpack and charge then fly. The Micro CX can also be purchased without the transmitter (This version) and can be bound to any transmitter using Spektrums DSM2 technology such as the a Blade CX2 transmitter, DX6i, DX7 and some JR sets.
The charger runs off of 4 x AA batteries so doesn't require mains power and will do around 20-25 charges before needing new batteries. Flight times are around 10 minutes per charge and extra batteries are just £5.99.
