Training Undercarriages
450 size Training Gear Set
Possibly one of the best few quid you might invest in your R/C Helicopter career!
This training gear set is ideal for the T-Rex range of helicopters and attached using good old fashioned elastic bands (not included)
By increasing the overall landing gear size you stand a much better chance of surviving those less than perfect landings.

Technically speaking new pilots will be better off with training gear!!
When you’re learning to fly helicopters (which is hard but not so hard it gets boring or irritating) it’s likely that you are going to loose control (or at least feel like you are) and your going to want to put your heli on the ground ASAP.
By crossing these two long poles to make an X and fastening them to you landing gear with elastic bands you will greatly reduce the risk of damaging your heli during the early stages.
A common part to brake whilst learning would be blades, you only have to come down at an angle and your blades will make contact with the ground which isn’t ideal considering they will be spinning around 2000rpm.
Simply put you increase the surface area of your landing skids and by doing so more often than not imperfect landings will be corrected by the training gear set.
Training gear really is an essential learning aid. Flight simulators are also a very popular tool and will help you advance right through your career as an r/c helicopter pilot
