refex sim

    hi people i need some help,i brought a new laptop which has vista on it so the reflex sim wouldnt work on the new laptop,ive just gone out and brought the lastest one and mu futaba transmitter with the old dongle will not work with the new sim,is there anything i can do?thanks

    If you brought the new reflex you should also have the red dongle...if it aint got the dongle you been ripped dude.....the new one dont work with the old blue dongle...send it back and get Phoenix....better sim and the support is good....reflex support is none existant....and you have to learn to make a model or download models from 3rd party sites (which are not that good to be honest)...most of the models fly like a bag of frogs thrown in the air.....the people who import the models never get the dynamics right

    hi thanks for the reply,one the end of the new lead is a jack lead and i didnt know i had to bye an adaper from that to a square which goes into the back of the tranmitter,also dave do i have to change the mode for the differant heli's i use on reflex and also set them up,sound thick dont i but ive only started all this not long back lol,cheers neil

    Hi Neil.....from what i remember about reflex you should just set your tranny up and away you go...why do you want to change the mode?....mode 1 is throttle and aileron on left stick and mode 2 is throttle and rudder on left stick (dont quote me on that as i could be wrong) i fly mode 2...set each model up as you want it to fly...the best one on there when I had reflex was a Raptor 50...join a local club and there will be someone to help you set things up
